how can i add someone to my list when the other one has added me?
by accepting his/her request it doesn't automatically add that contact to my list. i have to add it myself.

I think this is in 0.9, or maybe earlier…

Today a couple of friends using MSN (yuk!) added me. I received their request of authorization and checked the option to add them to my list.
Unfortunately they were not added. I could add them manually later.

I'm using 0.83b1

Is this known?

The last time I ran 0.9svn, it worked.

So be patient.

Waiting is.

Worked perfect for me first try with .82....Actually, I take that back, it took about 2 or 3 minutes to work.

SVN is the system the developers are using to manage the source code. When someone refers to an SVN build of Adium, they mean they downloaded the latest source and built it themselves. SVN builds are not guaranteed to work or even properly build. They are not ready for release and typically contain some features that are still in-progress. However, there are also times where a bug in Adium requires such an overhaul that the developers cannot make the change in a .82 - .83 incremental release, so it is targeted for something like .9. While an SVN build may contain the answer to one of your problems, it will likely contain so many other problems (especially when very far from a release date) that it won't be worth using. But it is good to know that your bug is fixed in the next major release. Is that the case with this bug? I don't know.

Hmm odd, check your offline contacts(view-show offline contacts) to see if they are there or not.
