Seeing an info without adding the contact??

Sometimes I just want to view a person's profile, but I don't necissarly want him or her on my buddy list. Is there any way I can do this? On AIM I could just click the name of my group or something and then press the "get info" button and be allowed to type in any SN to get info, but this isn't working on Adium. Any suggestions???? Thank you!!!

Command-N. Type in the name. Press Message.

Then you can do it from the message window. Not as direct, but it works.
