Font Size While Typing In Window

Forgive me if this is been asked and awnsered before. I'm new...

My question is, When I set my font to size 9 it changes all the text in the message window to size 9. When I'm typing in the box it's at like size 12. Is there anyway I can type in size 9 in the window? Thanks.

I'm not sure I know what your asking, but it could be the message view you're using. Message views have a default font size that can make fonts look larger or smaller in the message window.

When I type in the message window the size is 12. When I hit enter it goes to the size I want 9. I just want to type in size 9 and for it to show up in size 9. I want size 9 for everything. Thanks.

Command+T should do it for ya.
