Im new to Adium and can not figure out the dock icons for the life of me. I downloaded the Vader set but cant get them to install. When i click on the images it opens up photoshop. I tried going to library/app support/adium 2.0...but there is no folder for dock icons. I know my way around computers but this is driving me nuts. any help would be much appreciated.

This is probably a stupid suggestion and I'm sure you've done this already, but did you check the preferences just in case they installed but the message saying they installed didn't show up or you missed it or something? (I only suggest this because I've done this before...accidentally closing the notification screen without actually reading it.

)

When you download a dock icon from Adium Xtras, you should get a zip file. Safari automatically unzips it for me. Then I'm left with a .adiumicon file. Double clicking this should move it to the ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Dock Icons folder. You'll also be shown a dialog box that it was installed with the option to open your message prefs.

Yeah i get the zip file and everything, then in the folder are all the icons but there .png files and when i double click those it opens up photoshop. Still no dock icons folder in my library/app support/adium 2.0 folder.

Then apprarently they weren't formatted right and it's not your fault. Try another dock icon and see if you get the same problem.

Isn't that known as UFS?

Nope. It's technically known as HFSX, which is HFS+ with optional case sensitivity, journaling, adaptive hotfile clustering, and a few other goodies. UFS is a completely unrelated filesystem.
