Different address books?

I know Adium has support for Address Book.app. However, I prefer Entourage. Are there any plans to implement address book support besides Address Book.app?

Things I've thought of:

Entourage
Thunderbird
Opera
Eudora

There are currently no planes to implement it.
I don't think Entourage even has a public API, so this makes it kind of hard. It can be done with applescript though...

Why would the Adium team want to do that? By looking at the way their replies are formatted, I can see that all who have emailed me, if not all, of the Adium developers use Apple Mail, and therefore, Address Book.

But you can still do this manually by exporting to vcards and importing into your address book of choice.

A generic way of integrating with "address-book-like-data-stores" would be a nice thing to have. The project I'm working on at the moment might be able to help, but I'm hesitant to make any promises until I've finished it more.

choby uses sbook, and supposedly it has an api. You'd need to talk to him, but that would help to make it generic :)
