Just tried a complete reinstall of Growl. No dice at all. Every other application seems to work just fine. Not even console messages seem to show up when Adium is supposed to display a Growl notification.

Alright, Evan and I are probably going to contact you via email and try to figure this out with custom builds

Quick survey, for those of you in this thread who can't get Growl to work with Adium... what would you say the first version of Adium X you ever used was? Trust me, it's relevant

I've been using it regularly at the very least since the days of metal Adium.

I've used the last 2 0.83 RCs at home, where the problem is and no dice. But I haven't installed the release version at home yet, so I'll let you know what happens when I do.

The fix was added after those. Basically Evan found that if you used the .7x range of adium and had went away when you last used it, it set the event bezel to be off.
This affected the growl plugin within adium, even if you never used the event bezel.
