I am begging you... Please allow me to lock the contact list to the screen again so it cannot be dragged around unless a modifier key is held. It is my understanding this feature was removed becuase people enabling the option didn't know how to move the contact list. In my opinion, not giving the ability to lock the contact list with screen edge snapping a default is very very annoying. I keep my contact list close to the edge of the screen but not on the screen edge and any little nudge while i'm clicking on a contact name (becuase in borderless windows clicking anywhere in the window moves it) and it snaps to the edge of the screen.
Put it in advanced options and leave it off by default or something. If a user enables it without reading it's description and can't figure it out it's their own problem.
I also think screen edge snapping should have an on/off checkbox or a modifier TO snap it instead of not snapping it, but if i can lock the contact list again I don't really care about the latter. Am I the only one who liked this feature?
Eh? This was never an option… or I haven’t seen it. And if it was a 0.7x -> 0.8 difference, I don’t think there ever was. There was only a No-command key to command key and vice versa change.
Can someone please clarify if this was a feature that was removed or if it never existed in the first place?
If it's been removed, which version was the first to not include it?
Moving the contact list in .7x and before, when using a borderless or bubbles window style, required holding the command key, while moving contacts was just a click-and-drag.
Moving the contact list in 0.80 and later is a click and drag, while moving contacts requires holding the command key.
