When talking to people on MSN I get a "converstation window closed" message after 1 minute of inactivity, even if they don't actually close the window. If they close it right away I get the message properly. Has anyone else seen this? I searched the bug database but didn't see anything, but I haven't really had time to look extensively, so I thought I'd ask here first to see if anyone else has seen this before, or knows if there is a bug already before I log one.

This is not a "bug", it's just their MSN client closing the chat connection. The "Conversation closed" and "Conversation timed out" messages should be removed since they will never function correctly.

IIRC it has been reported that MSN7 still functions, despite this behavior. Can't confirm that myself though.

To me it seems that gaim gets a bit confused with timed out and conversation closed notices...

MSN 7 displays conversation closed and timed out notices?
