I got Paul Lockaby to modify his deadaim2gaim script to work with AdiumX. We've tested it many times to make sure it works and it appears to be. You can find it on his website:
http://www.paullockaby.com (it's under projects). If you find any bugs report them to him. Also I guess there is some HTML that the AdiumX log viewer doesn't process or just ignores but it doesn't seem to have a big effect. Maybe in a later release of AdiumX they will take care of that. Enjoy!

The beta (.83) fixes some of the HTML issues I was talking about so that makes this even better!

As excited as I am about this program, I have no idea how to get it to work. I almost got it to work in Terminal a few times, it displays a message "Completed parsing all log files." but nothing happens afterwards. Can you give better instructions about how to use it? Until now I've been using Applescript (and recently Automator) to convert most of the log files so any help with this easier to use program is appreciated. Thanks.

Here is what I did. I made a folder on my desktop called "Logs". I put the script in here and then made another Directory called "Adium". I copied the "AIM Logs" file off of my pc (in it are all of my screenames) into the "Logs" folder. I then typed
Code: Select all
./deadaim2adium.pl "Aim Logs" "Adium"
in to terminal. Let me know if that works for you.

Thanks so much!!!
I ran into some trouble at first but it worked after I changed the directory in Terminal.
Yay, finally, no more need to do it manually.
