Could we the users have a toggle (preference or otherwise) to prevent status messages of the person you're talking to, from displaying in the chat window?

Generally if I want to know someone's status, I want to see what it is at that moment (with their icon), not historically. And if I did, I'd likely want to see it in a separate popup window or something, not in my chat window.

If you open the Status.html document of your message style and delete everything, the status messages should disappear.
