i can only put in contacts with .Mac, aol, or ICQ accounts. Why and how can i put in ppla who have yahoo, msn, etc.

You have to have accounts connected on those services, and be connected to those services, to add buddies on those services.

If you're only connected to AIM/.Mac/ICQ... why on earth would you be able to add an MSN user?
