I am using Adium 0.82 on Mac OS X 10.4.2. I have not been able to connect to the MSN networks. Each time I get a "GAIM Error" which goes on to say "Connection error from Notification server (207.46.4.27): Writing error". What does this mean?

I have tried connecting ICQ and it works fine. The strange thing is Proteus does not seem to work with MSN either. What could be the problem?

Moving this to the General Forum, as you indicated you were using .82 and not the .83 beta.

Proteus and Adium use the same system to connect to MSN, so if neither are working, it's specific to that system and not to Adium. Which is good. Unfortunately, that's as far as my expertise goes.
