Initial Status

Is there any possible way to set your status as "away" or even "idle" when you first log on?

I know that there has been talk of invisibility functionality not being supported so this, to me, would be the next best thing to choosing weather I wanted to chat when I first come back to my computer and achieving some measure of privacy yet still having the convenience of Adium logging on automatically when I return to my computer.

I checked the "events" preferences in Adium and there are no options for setting status under the "when I connect" event options.

I tried an Applescript called "Set Idle" but that did not seem to work. Any help would be much appreciated.

Adium will connect in whatever the last-used status was. If you were away when you last quit adium, it will connect as away.

Excellent. That will do the job nicely.

Alternately, select the status you want on the account's submenu in the Status menu.
