Is there a way to reset contact's buddy icons?

The buddy icons are all wrong, and people have icons they shouldnt. They somehow got switched around.

Is there a way to force adium to fetch the correct icon?

Trash <Your home folder>/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Users/Default/libgaim/

When you trash that folder and restart Adium, hopefully that will fix up your problem.

Whoa.

That didn't help at all... and now all my contact's aliases are attached to the wrong screen name....

Try Removing the Adium 2.0 folder from Application support. Just move it to the desktop, don't trash it. Then restart Adium. It will create a new Adium 2.0 folder. If that fixes the problem, then you can just reinstall all your extras from the old Adium 2.0 folder. HTH
