Adium .84 does not show contacts

I have downloaded .84 and there are a couple contacts don't appear at all. I talked to them as well and they say they don't see me at all. They are in AIM. Anybody else has the same problem ?

If you are simultaneously connected to AIM via iChat and Adium is there any difference in the number of contacts online between iChat and Adium?
