did the .83 bug really solved? (MSN issue)

when I log into my MSN account, I see my contacts correctly. there are a total of 66 contacts on my list. then when I choose "show groups" from the "view" menu, suddenly some of the contacts disappear 
now it displays 40 contacts. not showing groups doesn't solve the problem. when I log out, and log in with microsoft's default MSN software (which I find so annoying) I see my 66 contacts again. and when I go back to Adium, they're there again. but whenever I choose to see groups, they again disappear. really weird, cuz it was not happening on .82

now I realized that if the contact isn't specified in a group on MSN, then it disappears. not showing groups doesn't get it back. only logging out and in back does.
