script to paste link into message

I am constantly sending people links to my site but in order to do so I would have to type out a really long address that gets to be a hassle. I am wondering if there is a way to make an adium script to paste in the link so that I could add the file name and press enter to have then entire link show up. I'm not asking anyone to do this for me, just some guidance would help. Thanks in advance!!

You can type %_safari and send that to a person to have a link to the page you currently have open be sent to them. More info here.

Even better would be to make your own .AdiumScripts xtra with a script which took 1 argument and something close to this:
