I have grown rather alot of Xtras, and am looking to tidy up a little bit. I would like to remove all of my Xtras but I don't know how to go about this. Have looked on trac and did a search but can't find much. Amm i supposed to remove the adium 2.0 folder?? If so where will I find it?? If not what do I do??

In your home directory, follow this path to find all your various Adium Xtras:

/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/

Xtras are grouped by kind - so all the message styles that you've downloaded, for example, will be in the "Message Styles" folder. Then you can just trash what you don't want to keep.
