Error with Adium customization

Well, recently, I was trying to edit my message style, and once I even open the "messages" section under preferences, it stops responding, and the mouse turns into the loading ball. It does this forever...help?

This is really annoying... I downloaded a list style with status icons and when selecting the icons the beachball started. And never stopped. One status icon was missing from the pack. Had to force quit Adium and remove the status icon pack and then start Adium.

There should be a pop up saying that "This is an invalid blablabla" instead of spinning the beachball forever.

Please link to or post the pack. There is such a dialogue coded, and I certainly can create an invalid pack which triggers it.

Sorry but I threw all the packs out (was two out of like 8 that didn't work) and I don't remember which one I downloaded.
