So, I have a desktop iMac and a Powerbook. I use the desktop at hme and the Powerbook on trips. However, I went on a lot of business trips this summer and have a considerable amount of logs on the laptop.
However, I want to put them all on my iMac. Is it possible to transfer the logs from the laptop to the iMac without deleting the ones on the iMac?
How can I do this.
Thanks

Perhaps someone knows of a fast, possibly applescript-y or automator way to do this. All I can think of is to move them over manually, into the correct folder,
username/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Users/Default*/Logs/AIM.yourscreenname/contact'sscreenname.
I know, it's very crude and unwieldy. That's all I can think of for now.
*On mine, it's in the Default user folder, but it may be different for you.
Also, I mainly use AIM, so my logs folder name format is AIM.myscreenname. It can also be MSN.myscreenname, bonjour.myscreenname, etc. you get the idea.

Manually doing it should work fine.
In the future, I suggest copying your whole Adium log folder to the powerbook before you leave, and copying it back when you return. I did that this past summer after having the same problem from before.
Incidentally, if your powerbook is wifi enabled you can symlink the adium log files and connect to the desktop before launching Adium so that the laptop will use the log files on the desktop computer, which is a veeeery nice setup.
