Send / Receive files with iChat users?

I've been able to send files to iChat users ever since the .84 release - was this something that was added to gaim recently? And does it work with receiving files, too?

Gaim was updated in .83, so that means it was updated in .84.

I think you're just lucky
Some changes were made, but the fundamental problems are still there.

on gaim's summer of code i saw that someone was able to fix the file transfer, so hopefully it will be in the next version of gaim?

Awsome that was the only reason I would use iChat was because I couldnt send files. yay!
