A few versions of Adium ago (o, how time passes), there used to be an option where you could choose one of your custom statuses from a drop-down menu, and it would show up in the text editing window.

Is there any chance this will return? I loved that option, because I often put what I'm doing or where I am (e.g. campus) followed by a quote or a song or anecdote -- all of which are in my saved statuses...

I love Adium (Ai-dee-um ) anyway, but I miss this feature.

Well good, because it's not gone. Hold down option and select the status.
