Very Frustrating problem....and more

1: I registered a BOMD-Eagle and while it sent email to my safe-mail account...it was bounched due to address verfication......sorry admins...if you could respond to that if it happens to error out..or just delete that account and change this one to BOMD-Eagle period.

2: I have over 80 contacts spread accross 4 different chat accounts (AIM/MSN)

I want to kill them all...clean start..deleteion of every account on my list.

Problem...it wont kill them

I used GAIM on my PC..deleted the whole list...they still come back.

Adium crashes when doing mass deletes.

Ive gone itno the library files...deleted adium..killed gaimlib's files.....re-installed adium after deletion.....none of the above works.

I would really like my chat system purged as soon as possible as im trying to find a nice peaceful hole to dig myself into <smirks>.

Any assistance would be greatly aprecaited.

All i want to do..is flat out kill my entire contact list.....from adium. Start over..fresh.

UPDATE: ok...stubbronly i refused to give up....i went to AIM.com and used the JAVA <eck> version of their IM..after about 20 mins of repetive clicking and typing..deleted all my contacts.

After over an hour...adium finally acknowledged i had no contacts left.

This solved the problem obviouslly..but it still leaves the fact that Adium is unable to do the same from itself....every time i delete...it gives me a "its permanate" warning...i say yes...logout..log in..its still there.
I guess ill move on..or wait for anyone to give some comments.

formatting wouldn't help, i think the problem is that Adium doesn't tell the server to delete the things from the buddy list correctly? I could be wrong, but im fairly sure contacts are stored server side...

this is quite strange, because some contacts i can successfully delete, some others (even deleted with the genuine client) keep on coming back.

No idea why. Can anybody help ?
