wouldn't there be a possibility to change resolutions as to screw up one of both screens? (an iMac shouldn't be able to handle 75Hz but a newer screen does)

There is a point where you need *trust* otherwise you all you do is foster animosity. Yeah your kid is safe, but you're paranoid and over-stressed. You also need to prepare kids to be responsible for when you're not around.
