Blocking users

Hi

I am having a problem of being able to block a buddy from MSN on Adium? I've got the latest version of Adium

Each time I select 'block' - it doesn't seem to work? And i was talking to someone who is a Adium user - it worked on his so why couldn't mine work?

Blocking only works for me (over any service) if I open a message window with the person, and then select: Contact -> Block

Tried that - still doesn't work

EDIT: It does work now!

I just had to restart my messenger

I use AIM with Adium. I am trying to block a person on my list who also uses Adium. No matter how I get to the "block" option (from the menu bar, contextual menu, or buddy list) or no matter how many times I restart Adium, I still am not able to block the other Adium user. I am able to block other regular users fine.

I can click "block" and it will list him as blocked as the new option is "unblock" however he is still not blocked and it is as nothing has changed. How can I block the other Adium user? Is it an inability of Adium to be able to block other Adium users?
