Linked Screen Names

I once linked a screen name to the one I currently use. That was a long time ago, and on a different computer than the one I currently use (it is still in my house). It was really annoying me that there was that other screen name that I really never used linked to my real one, and when I looked at my profile, it would always show the other screen name's profile right under mine. So, I recently unlinked it from the original computer, and it seemed to work fine. So I signed back on Adium, but the other screen name was STILL THERE, even though it wasn't signed on or anything. It is really making me mad. Is there any way to get rid of that pesky screen name that is not actually signed on, but still there?

Where is it still there? (We don't do anything with 'linked screennames' - so it may be something still stored on the server...)

AIM is a little screwy with the linked screenname business. When I was using AIM, I was always having problems with linking and unlinking screennames.
