Hi,

I've no idea how to make my buddy icon work. If I change my user picture, other Adium users can see it, but 95% of my contacts cannot - they use Windows and ICQ, and their ICQ doesn't display the Adium contact icons. Why not?
And is there any solution? Can I use any other ICQ application to set a working buddy picture? I used the old original ICQ version for Mac to edit my visible list, but this version doesn't support images yet. I don't have a Windows PC here. Is there any other solution?

does adium have user pictures? I quickly glanced at the tour of their application (watched the windows one) and it doesn't say anything about it.

if not, tell your friends to use an application that does use user pictures

I know you meant "does ICQ have user pictures?" and the answer is apparently so. For quite some time now, 4 of the 19 people on my ICQ list have had buddy icons set for themselves.

Of course it has. Nearly all of my icq buddies have a user picture.
