hi, ive been using adium for awhile but i kept noticing my contacts keep getting shuffled around between groups. It mainly gets shuffled around between the group I want the contact to stay in (ie, school friends) and the recent buddies or buddies group. Does anyone have a solution to keep the contacts remaining in a group?

I manually move the contacts to the correct group each time but once i quit and then restart adium, the contacts move to either the recent buddies or buddies group.

I'm having the same issue as well, i have removed preferences hoping that would fix it, but it hasn't been successful yet either. any suggestions would be wunderbar.

i think many people are having this problem, this is probably the only REALLY bad flaw with Adium/GAIM and that is the buddy list problems but i hope that will be fixed soon.
