When I open Adium the menubar icon works the first time, the second time I click it, it does nothing. Any way to fix that :? ?

Do you have a custom status icon pack? Try changing that back to the original, restart Adium and see if this helps.

No, I have the default one. I tried upgrading to 0.85 beta, but that won't fix the problem.

All the cache stuff is because I emptied the cache recently, but that was after the problem appeared. There's a lot of things about the menu item that I can't understand.

Are you SURE you're using the default (Gems) status icon pack and default(Aqua) service icon pack? Check your Appearance prefs.

Oh, I didn't think the gems would matter, I'm going to check that.

EDIT: That fixed the problem, thanks!

is this something that will be fixed later? I hate the gems status icons, but I also use the menubar icon A LOT.

Use a valid status icon set and you'll be fine.

How can I tell if an icon set is valid or not?
