Chat window backround

Post by Zeremus X »

I'm trying to make the picture in the backround of my chat widndow the same as my desktop so that they basically overlap. I have resized the image back and forth (keeping the original) and still no luck. I have seen people do this with other backrounds but I cant get it to work. Any ideas? :?

You could make the background a totally transparent image file… might work.

I don't think that will work because the message window has a solid color behind the picture if memory serves me right.

You need to find exactly where your chat window is going to be at all times, then take a screenshot so it saves.

Minimize or move the chat window and take another screenshot so it saves.

Open your favorite image edting program, it has to be semi-professional. Open the first screenshot you took. Make a selection of just what's inside the chat window where you and your buddy's text shows up.

Find that exact point and selection on the second screenshot, crop it, and save it. Then set the one you just saved as your message background.
the sky is going to crush you.
