jabber accounts can not remember state in account list

I set my login accounts, 2 AIM and 1 jabber to show up in the accounts list in my buddy list. The jabber account, no matter how many times I delete it and recreate it, or even delete the account and recreate it, will only show up in my accounts list for one session, beyond that, it is no where to be found.
When I Add contact, and put it back in, and do not give it an alias name, it picks up the one I gave it in a past attempt, so its kinda there.
Anyway, its nice to be able to tell if I am signed onto a service, but with jabber, I can not seem to get this to work. Looked in the bug tracker, and can not find this mentioned.

Any ideas? Still have this with .86, aamof, it seems to crash it even trying to add an account.

Where do I send it to? I am kinda trying to flesh this out here, seems often when I post to the bug tracker, I can get somewhat snappy replies telling me to search first. I always do but the bug tracker has some to be desired in the way of search.
If I am the only one seeing this, it may be something on my end, so I wanted to work it out here first.

I just mean the crash report you're sending when it crashes, via the Adium Crash Reporter.

Bumping this one, it has been ages
I am sitting here, on a jabber account, talking to myself, trying to add myself to the buddy list. In the chat window, I right click, "Add contact", the window to add a contact pops up, I fill it out, group is set to "accounts" and "add" is grey and can not be clicked.
Been this way ages.

IIRC, you can't add yourself to your own buddy list in Jabber...
At least, every time I tried, it added me, but then deleted me and I was gone from my list on the next relaunch

I'm confused about add being grey though -- that doesn't happen to me. Could you post a screen shot?

Seems to work now, no idea, had to just beat on it it bit
