Hi,

an Adium User (latest Version running) has the problem, that her writings in a jabber-chatroom is shown twice: It seems that she can read her own echo.

I am running the same Version with the same OS-Version and using the same jabber-chat. without having the problems. Checking the Preferences does not show any significant differences.

But I cannot understand why the problem appears only on HER computer. As I said: Same OS, same Adium, same Chat, and my accountname is not the same like the Nick in the chat.

I solved Silkes problem by a sudden inspiration. In the jabber-acount she typed her nick in lower case letters ('passiona'), but on the server she is known as 'Passiona'. Changing the first Letter to upper case solved the problem.
