Hello,
Anyone have a complete list of files that adium uses to store user lists, server config info, etc?
Thanks,
Alex

I am planning on rolling AdiumX out to about 25 people or so at a small company. I would really like to push contact lists out to people and server config's out, too. I have found some of the server config files - mainly in ~/Library/Application Support/Adium/Accounts/*.plist - these seem to be referenced from the file Accounts.plist in the parent directory.
I really just need to know where I can add groups of contacts - one for sales, accounting, etc...Also, can you reference yourself in the contact list?
Thanks,
Alex
I got it

As you found, Adium's configuration files are all in ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0.
Contact lists are stored serverside -- so you'll want to log in with each account you're setting up and add the contacts, which will then propagate to wherever the account is used.
You can add yourself in the contact list on most protocols... the only one I'm aware of where this doesn't (always) work properly is Jabber.
there were more

Ok...so I found out that the config files I was really looking for resided on the server. they are the users .xml files where people's contact lists/groups are defined.
It seems like it will be pretty damn easy to roll this out to a bunch of users with pre-configged user lists/groups.
