Hello,

Some of my friends who use MSN like to change their contact icons almost each time I talk to them, and normally ask me something like, "isnt my new display pic so great lol!!?" But Adium just shows me the old contact icon, not the contact's new one.

I notice, of course, that my contacts' icons don't stay the same forever, so they must get updated eventually. What I would like to know is this: is it possible to make Adium reload a contact's icon?

I searched in both the trac and the forums. I couldn't find anything on the trac, and in the forums I found two useful topics. In this one they seemed to conclude that the time between reloads is random, and when I read this one and tried deleting a contact's cache file, when I restarted Adium all I got was the default colourful butterfly icon. Even if deleting the cache had worked, I had really wanted to know if there was a way to do it from within Adium, without having to quit and fire it up again (which isn't so great when I have a bunch of conversations going). I should have made that more clear, sorry.

For me it does it automatically. I just have to wait about 3-5 minutes after they do it for it to appear.
