MSN display name doesn't change when logging in

I've searched many times for the solution to this little bug, but couldn't find it...

Usually before I log on as Available on MSN, I change my display name, and expect it to be changed. There's a strange little bug that retains my previous MSN display name, whis is a constant big pain. I can only change it after I log on.

Why is this?

I have never had this problem. Are you sure you you are hitting ok?

I'm pretty sure I'm doing everything right.

Preferences > Accounts > double click on MSN account > Personal > type in Display Name

And that would be before I log on MSN.

I change my MSN display name, click on AVAILABLE under status, and it doesn't change.

I can only change my name when I'm connected to the MSN server.

Definitely is a bug. I've fixed it locally for a future version.
