grrr.
So I plugged my router in, going wireless (yeah, I know, I should anyways since I use only a Powerbook) and now the Xtras site works again. So WTF is wrong with Comcast?
And on a side note, since i had to update Adium to .86, I wanted my Color Adium Menu Status Icons thingie...I like the color. But it is only working with the green, not other colors. Is this because the update to .86 or wah?

Paul: I should have been more specific - you need to look up "
www.adiumxtras.com," without the HTTP prefix to specify the protocol. However, as your connection seems to be working now, this is probably a moot point.
KatLady: Not being able to access the IP address is very strange - in that case, it would almost seem as if Comcast is blocking access to the site or as if there's a network misconfiguration there. You might also try pinging the IP address or running a traceroute to it. If you can't get a ping back, I'd talk to Comcast's tech support or check your local network configuration. A traceroute may help with this conversation - if you can send Comcast the results of a traceroute, they'll have a better idea of where your connection to the site fails.
