I'd love to be able to block people that annoy me to heck. This is one of the greater features of competing chat clients, such as iChat, YIM, and MSN messenger. i'd love this feature.

Please search before posting next time (this is quite often asked), and the answer is that it is in progress, but for the mean time simply go on another client (iChat or the official AIM client for example) and block the people from there (Adium will respect your privacy preferences set in other clients).

Yeah, I hear you on that. Blocking would be good.

Just one thing, though: this has been requested about fourteen million times. Try searching the forum first, yeah? Seeing the same thing over and over and over really gets on my (and I'm guessing everyone else's) nerves.

For example: I'll come to the forum, thinking that there's a fantastic new discussion, and it'll be another post about blocking, or another post about .8 and its release date, etc. It really ruins the excitement when you realise it's just the same old. Nahmean?
