Here's one that can help on Dutch translation too! I know you need Apple Developer Tools, but don't ask me how to get those...

Developer Tools come with the Mac OS, so it should be in the box…
Or if you got a computer with Mac OS X preinstalled, there is a Installer in the /Applications folder

Please don't try to translate Adium on your own
Tick is coordinating a team of people in a lot of different languages to localize Adium when it is fully ready to be localized, and that process is in progress right now, as evidenced by the source.

Don't feel guilty not helping... and I'm sure there are those who could use help drafting the documentation (or you could start translating what they have done)
I'm not trying to keep people away, it's just that a bunch (at least 100) e-mailed in when we requested testers and they've been chosen - many who have translated commercial apps as well... so it's not a matter of keeping you from volunteering so much as you are volunteering for a job that has likely been filled already

I've received 190 emails. I've not gotten one for Duth, but I don't think OS X will allow us to translate to that language. I may be wrong, but we'll see.

It took me nearly a minute to understand what that meant.

I know of at least one person for Japanese -- but email Tick so he has it in his Master Translation List for later
I think that after the release of 0.8 we'll be ready to start translating most of Adium. No promises, but that's my belief as of right now.
