Im having extreme troubles with dock icons i've submitted

I've zipped them, uploaded but upon download they refuse to download as zipped files, tried adding the appropriate extension but to no avail....

they do get approved, so i guess maybe they work for the team at adiumx

can anyone tell me why they don't work on download

I've since deleted my xtra's out of pure frustration, as they just damn well don't f'ing work!

Wait, so you submit them in a zipped file and then they don't download as a zipped file?

Mac OS X automatically unpacks ZIPs on download - maybe that's it?

Try not zippping them, and append the .AdiumXtra file extention to them. I think they won't download because of the adiumxtra:// protocol.

I have no idea why there would be numbers... I do think that you can upload without compression.

I had tried appending the adiumicon extention to them, but they're just empty files..... the first icon i submitted a whole bunch of people downloaded them, but only one told me it didn't work

so i tried downloading it myself, and discovered it really didn't work

so frustrating, trying to resubmit, and im even having troulbe doing that!

Arrrgghhhhh!!!!!

save me tick!

i think i fixed the problem, i was archiving them with right mouse click and archive file..... so instead I ran stuffit, and archived as a tgz archive, and now it seems to work no problem..... go figure

All of the advise in this post should be ignored as it is incorrect.

That's really weird, I do the right click archive thing too and it works for me...

...or does it?

*worried*

My bad, I wasn't sure.
