Contact list icons showing up when Adium is hidden... why?

I'm using Adium 0.86 and I've had this same problem with many/all of the betas I used before it... The problem is, I have adium set to hide the contact list if it's not the front window. When I click to the Finder, or when I actually hide Adium, if I put my mouse over where my "hidden" contact list is, my contact's info pops up in front of whatever I'm doing. It's really annoying. Here's an example:

This will happen when I'm scrolling through safari, word, any application. It's a real pain. What can I do to stop it? Thanks.
