I talked to cbarrett, and he said we can use adiumx.com/switch, but before we worry about domain or hosting stuff, we should get stuff done. If I have some time this week, I can make a basic charm and then you guys can add and improve it if need be.

Agree w/ Mr. tick. Altough maybe we should use Quacks inside the switch page for testimonials.

Sounds great. We need a part of the site to get more users. The name though, anything will really do. But If you're going to try to catch peoples attention and make them remember Adium, and recommend it to their friends, etc. you need a phrase or something. "Quacks" sounds okay.

I'd say that it's a bit of a difference between that thread and this "poll".
We didn't really come to a conclusion, now we got three different things to vote on.. Oh well, up to the mods.
i seem to have missed out on the whole discussion...
But reading some of the first pages and the two last pages, i have some remarks.
If the aim of the campaign is to promote the software, trying to get the official page into mainstream sites and blogs would be more effective than creating a site/division.
I'm thinking about major papers, slashdot or maybe even be a featured download on apple.com?

if you read the whole thread, it has changed. the purpose is really a community made site that compares adium to other messengers and etc. just read the whole thing (if you want) and you will see
