I keep missing sent files!

I keep missing the alert box when someone wants to send me something! Is there a way to get a big ol notice to appear even when adium is not currently the active window!! 
Use Growl, you can set a growl notification to appear when a file transfer is requested.
Poke around the Events preferences.
