Does anyone else have this problem or any idea on what may be going on. Recently I have been experiencing a strange issue when sending to an Adium user friend. I send IM's and they do not get them. Sometimes it is over a period of hours where they will not get anything from me...sometimes not even see me online.

I have .73 they have .72. and it is AIM

Your best bet initially is to update to the current version for both clients. See if that fixes the problem.

that we will do i am sure...i can also use aim or ichat and send messages on one end...but i was was looking first to see if anyone else had experienced this. If i am only one, then I suspect it may be a net prob. I cannot always replicate at will, it seems arbitrary. I would think that if i am getting dropped messages I would not be alone.

If you're on MSN, definitely upgrade to the latest version (which is the beta of 0.75) and see if it fixes your problem. Other protocols that is also true, but particularly MSN.

In general, it is always good to update to the latest version of a program before reporting a bug to see if its been fixed or not :)

for the record i am not reporting a bug...thats why i didnt go to the bug forum, hell.. I dont even know if it is one. Just curious if anyone has ever seen this before and if they did...what was it. My guess is the issue is NOT adium related.

It is AIM btw...i had edited my first post (i thought lol)

There aren't any issues with this happening in Adium over AIM to my knowledge, besides potentially yours.
