Contact list help..

Post by m.jo »

Hi.. I was just wondering if there is a way to show your user-image, name and status in the top of the contact list. Maybe some thing like this:

I don't want it to be a part of the "window toolbar", just a part of the contact list. Could that be done?

If you add yourself to your buddy list, you will appear on the contact list. This works for AIM/ICQ i believe, not sure about MSN

I have already done that, I guess it could work for now at least. Is there a way to make my own user-image bigger than the rest or do I have to make it the same size?

Thanks for the quick reply's.

Nope, all the icons in the contact list must be the same size. Cool idea though :)

That would actually solve the problem with the contact list, cause then you have all the things I asked for - user icon, name and status is already there - and with the option to make your own user icon larger then your contacts, you could just make your own little "header".

I thought of one more thing.. Is there some way to delete or replace the generic icon that appears when a contact hasn't defined a user icon? So that it is replaced by default with an icon like the silhouette used for the user accounts in osx.
