is there a Get Files/My Shared Files extra or anything that i can use for Adium...

This would require support in gaim, which I don't believe there is. Could be wrong though, any corrections?

I haven't been able to do this in Adium - and I don't think even in iChat or (gag) the official Mac client.

Sharing files and/or getting shared files is supported in the official version of AIM for Mac (4.7).
