Widgets are Konfabulator (now Yahoo! Widgets.

IR is InvisRay, which makes your Cocoa windows transparent

And the tabs are DragThing

Close. The "widgets" are a program called stattoo. The rest is correct. (though the transparent chat window came from 1.0SVN, i don't use invisiray much at all anymore)

There are a few contact list styles out there that do this; the one shown is Cocoa.

They follow your transparency so long as you uncheck the Background checkbox in Theme->Customize->Groups.

That works. But now the group names and the contacts have the exact same background color. In Simba Cub's screenshot the group names have a brighter transparent background. Does anyone know, how to do this?

EDIT: "Color backgrounds" in the Preferences seems to do the trick...

What is the message style in Simba Cubs screenshot? It's pretty good and I don't see it on the Xtras site.

That would be Gone Dark by David Legnon (mr_misanthropy). Specifically, the variant is Gone Dark Polarised: Margarita :)
