Questions about this desktop... is that an actual wallpaper or is that just a basic apple color background with nicely arranged icons? And what are the dots by your clock?
Your right, its an Apple color background with some nice icons from interfacelift.com. Its my kind of simple ad hoc media center untill a good one gets released! (headphones open iTunes, camera opens iPhoto, display opens EyeTV, and clapper opens finder window with icons set to 128x128 and dvd art as icon preview, and the record does nothing, just looks good
)
The dots by the clock are just a simple style i liked for Synergy, an iTunes controller!

Yeah… just takes a few hundred years to send/receive one message.

Yeah… just takes a few hundred years to send/receive one message.
If that was true, how do we have pictures from the surface of mars from an machine?

don't we use a weird conjunction of hyperspace, qubits and time machines? and anyway, what's the point of interplanetary IM, who would you talk to?

I was talking about the people outside our Solar System, but whatever.
I/we/Gaia need(s) can talk to anyone instantly through hyperspace anyways.
