So here's the problem with a text only communication medium, such as these forums. People read the things you type and assume that you meant it in one tone or the other. Brian (bgannin) is a really relaxed and chill person, and wouldn't mean any form of rudeness to anyone. But people read it as such.
Same as I just read the comment Seawolf typed as being very rude, but I do know he did not mean it that way, you guys really do need to stop reading people's posts as being rude. His post was informative, and summarized the position we're in pretty nicely.
Now, of course, someone will read this post and think I'm being rude, but I started out knowing that, because everyone on these forums thinks that I'm the rudest person on earth. And so forth.
So be nice, and stop the bickering, please

I completely agree. And I also thank bgannin and seawolf for their comments, you're right too.
We just need some more civility and overall 'niceness' in this forum.

heh
My problem is that I'm blunt, and most people want flowery words and stuff that I just don't do.

It won't be a stylish marriage,..I can't afford a carriage,
But you'll look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two!

I'd just like to comment that this kind of thing happens on forums all over the place and is hardly unique to this one. I don't often post here, but from what I've seen it doesn't seem to be that much worse than other places around the web.
That being said, rudeness is not absolute. While somebody might not think they are being rude if lots of other people see them as being rude then they should probably try and fix that.

Or the other people are too sensitive and need to grow up.

Because The_Tick is perfect. No doubt. He's fully grown to the farest he can.
Learn to live with the fact that you're blunt. Write a "I'm sorry if I've been blunt again" in your sig. would at least soften things and works towards
mutual understanding.
That said, I do believe you must be a great programmer and often you say in one word what others can't say in 100 words.
