Man your all skrewed up accept Fox, Bebop's cool. The best anime is Samurai Champloo and Ghost in the Shell :D

There's a lot of people connected between Bebop and Champloo. Shinichiro Watanabe directed both of them. In case you couldn't tell, he really likes to have his works revolve around music - usually a particular style. Bebop was dominated by jazz, and Champloo is dominated by hip-hop (one of the reasons why it doesn't make my favorites list - not a fan of hip-hop). On the English side of things, there are some voice actors connected there, namely Steve Blum (Spike and Mugen), and Wendee Lee (Faye and Fuu).

Also, Yoko Kanno did the music for Bebop and GitS: Stand Alone Complex.
