Currently we are using the Adium version of xo.87 on the OX operation system on mac. I am using AIM

When I sign in all of my "buddies" can see me logged in but one, and the one that can't see is my boss. In most cases this is a good thing, but in this it isnt . How do I become visable to him like the rest of the crew?

I guess logically the problem is with your boss. If everyone else can see you but him, I believe the problem is on his/her end.

What is your boss using for instant messaging? (which program)

What are your privacy settings? (Are you blocking anyone?)

Thank you for the response.. he is using the same as me. my priv. settings. no i am not blocking anyone. but will see if he is blocking anyone.

Oh he's using Adium with the AIM protocol also?

Make sure you check in an official client (iChat, for example) to see that you are not blocking anyone (in iChat's privacy settings). The current version of Adium contains no such list of blocked contacts.
